Great questions Russell, thanks for asking them, and yes we do need to be talking about these things to each other. I'm going to think about this and get back to you. Thank you Russell. I need to ponder your questions. Right now I feel some resistance to answering them because all this, for me, remains in the realm of mystery and I am reluctant to make any claims at all, I do believe that we are addressed and we are used. Perhaps, more frequently the "being used" is something of which we have no awareness. Blessings, David

Jesus never suggested spiritual power was inherent in his disciples, nor is it in us, but it was given by God, through Jesus (Mat 10:1)

We become partakers of the divine (2 Peter 1:3-4) only through Holy Spirit authority.

Many thought they had authority, and demons corrected them. See Acts 19:15

The only way to overcome in the world is by Jesus.
